High level of quality throughout all project phases & conformity with the agreed
To ensure this, we work by best-practise models. Here an example of workflow for a typical website development:
Need analysis
In order to make sure that a development fullfills the needs of the customers + the future visitors of the site, some preliminary work is required in order to answer questions such as:
- Why are we on the internet?
- Who are we there for?
- What are their needs - and how can we help them?
- How will we target them?
- What are our requirements and criterias of success?
The result is a document containing
-
Specification requirements and project description
(systematic approach, analysis, spesifications and validation of demands etc.). - Project development plan (timeine, milestones, approvals etc)
- Detailed budget (often a project changes character during the initial phase. Adjustments to initial budget are described)
The development
The conceptual design is developed and scetches are sent to the customer for approval. Upon approval we design all pages (pages with individual design), graphical elements etc. and send a package to the customer for approval.
Upon approval, we program all (frontend + backend) and upload it to a production server.
Our websites always comes with a full CMS (Content Management System). The goal is to give our customers the widest possible control over their website and enable them to update and maintain their website(s)
- without need for programming skills (easy-to-use, pedagogical setup)
- without software installed or physical limitations (all you need is an internet browser)
- without ongoing costs to programming/design (you can do most things yourself)
The development goes to thorough testing (compatibility, usability, behaviour, data redundance, W3C guidelines) before being handed over to the customer for the final approval.
Usually minor changes will be applied and the site is ready for upload.
After development
Upon receiving the final approvement, the website is uploadet to the final domain and goes online. Often an introduction course to our Content Management System is given to the customer.
Tools for traffic analysis are implemented and plans for reporting/optimisation delivered (optional).
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and online marketing planning and -execution will begin (optional).
