A journey from an Implementing Agreement within the IEA (International Energy Agency) - to being the authoritative voice within Ocean Energy
OES is an international, country-based organisation committed to facilitate and co-ordinate ocean energy research, development and demonstration through international co-operation and information exchange. Thereby leading to the deployment and commercialisation of sustainable, efficient, reliable, cost-competitive and environmentally sound ocean energy technologies.
Since it was born as an Implementing Agreement within the IEA (International Energy Association), OES has undergone a massive change, resulting in a workprocess for new strategy and identity in 2011.
VOI Communication has been involved in the process of implementing the new strategy on various levels/platforms such as:

Online cooperation
Being constituted by 19 countries who only meets physically two times pr. year, ment there is a demand for online tools in order to facilitate internal discussions and decision making. We developed:
- Extranet for internal communication + knowledge-storing facilities
- Voting system (voting procedures within the international committee, including commentary options)
